Just under a year ago I was singing the praises of PN Personnel and the great work Christine Hanning had done for me to get me into an amazing contract role at Massey University.

Last Thursday I went from being a contractor to being a permanent member of the Service Desk team at Massey.

Yes I achieved this through hard work, dedication and putting in the effort to succeed. But the journey only started because Christine was willing to back me, to put me forward and then support me throughout the whole journey. Through starting out, lockdowns, all the rollercoaster fun this last 8 months has been, not once did I feel like I was doing this alone.

Christine and PN had my back every step of the way. As thrilled as I am to be moving to a permanent role with a team I love doing something I enjoy, there will never be a moment when I am not thankful for the work and support I had from Christine and the amazing team at PN Personnel.

Very grateful for the support given to me by Christine and the staff at PN Personnel, I had several placements while with PN Personnel, each one was a good fit with my skill set, and I enjoyed my time at them while I was there.

I recently contacted Christine at PN Personnel due to being made redundant 6 weeks before Christmas. I sent her my CV and she was soon in contact discussing my skill set and ideal job roles. After a quick phone call she immediately put my mind at ease and assured me the perfect role was just around the corner.

After a few days she sent me a job description that fit my skill set and personal preferences perfectly and arranged an interview that week. The following week I had my second interview with the same company and received a job offer 2 days later.

If that’s not a recruitment agency at the top of their game , well I don’t know what is!

PN Personnel was the first agency that I contacted on arriving in New Zealand and in Palmerston North and from the start they have always been friendly, supportive and professional.

I met with Robyn first and it only took a few minutes for her to understand my needs and situation. My wife had previously found employment through PN Personnel and had a very pleasant experience working with Christine.

Finding employment can be at the best of times, a very stressful and daunting process. Two years ago, I moved from the Hawke’s Bay to Palmerston North and my quest to find employment began.
