What is the NPS?

Your Net Promoter Score (NPS) is calculated as the difference between the percentage of Promoters verses the percentage of Detractors.

The score is calculated from responses which are scaled between 0 – 10.

Responses are divided into three categories depending on the score given:

Promoters – score of 9 – 10

Passives – score of 7 – 8

Detractors – score of 0 – 6

Net Promoter Scores range from – 100 to +100 meaning anything 0 upwards is a positive result and indicates you have more promoters than detractors.

Each year Perceptive release their report on NPS scores for NZ industries including the  NZ Recruitment Industry Benchmark

In 2020 the NZ Recruitment Industry NPS was -17.
In 2021 this has risen 17 to sit at 0.
