We're working with a respected and long-standing construction business in the Manawatu region who are looking to bring an experienced Quantity Surveyor on board. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with an immediate start available for the right person.

In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with Project Managers and wider internal teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, within budget, and to a high standard. With a strong pipeline of local work ahead and a supportive, team-focused culture, this is a fantastic chance for a skilled QS who's ready to take the lead and make their mark.

Responsibilities

• Preparing tenders and supporting the bidding process
• Managing pricing for variations, progress claims, and purchase orders
• Overseeing multiple projects at different phases of delivery
• Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, including contract management
• Working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Collaborating across internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly and successfully

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the New Zealand construction industry
• Solid background working with main contractors
• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders
• Well-organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing responsibilities
