Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with leaders, to understand the people factors in achieving their business goals and to implement new initiatives
  • Provide coaching and advice on people practices to our leaders; including planning for change, building engagement and enabling team performance
  • Support management practice and build leadership capability
  • Analyse people data that gives insight to teams' progress with new initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practices, managing risk appropriately
  • Promote health, safety and well-being initiatives across the organisation

Skills & Experience:

  • HR generalist experience at an advisory or business partnership level
  • Strong knowledge of NZ employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management
