The Makino Aquatic Centre is looking for a temporary Aquatic Programmes Leader to plan, promote, and deliver a variety of exciting programmes, activities, and events that boost awareness and participation at our facility.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement engaging aquatic programmes and events
• Lead marketing efforts, including social media and website management
• Connect with a diverse range of community members and stakeholders
• Be a hands-on, energetic leader during events and activities

What We're Looking For

We want someone who:

• Has proven experience in planning and delivering events, programmes, or activities (aquatic experience is a plus, but not essential)
• Possesses exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with all demographics
• Is skilled in social media marketing and website management
• Has a genuine passion for community engagement

Working Hours & Flexibility

This is a temporary position for approximately 1-2 months in duration. Your core hours will typically be 1PM - 6PM on weekdays, but flexibility is essential due to the nature of this role. Your presence, leadership, and enthusiasm at events and programmes will be key to your success.
