My first interview was with Cushla who made me feel at ease and she brought out the best qualities of my working life in me.
The hardest thing for me is to talk about is "me", but Cushla made it easy for me to tell her my strengths and weaknesses and where did I see myself heading as far as my working career was concerned.
After my initial meeting, it was about a week later that I received a call from Cushla regarding a temporary role in Feilding and from that point onward, everything starting moving forward. I did a 10 week assignment in Feilding. Once that came to an end, I received a call from Christine about a temporary role in Palmerston North. Talk about "hit the ground running" as this next assignment was just that. The Office Manager was sick the day that I went into this office however, I sat down at their reception desk and promptly started answering the telephones and entering data into their computer system. That assignment lasted for approximately 8 weeks to cover someone on sick leave. The day before I finished this assignment, I again received a call from Christine about another temporary position in Feilding and so the day after I finished the Palmerston North assignment and also after a 10 minute meeting with the owner of the business, I began my next Administration assignment which lasted for 3 months.
Although I am moving into a new full-time position with Corrections, I have truly enjoyed my time being employed by PN Personnel and recommend them to anyone and everyone. Thanks for everything Cushla, Christine, Robyn and all of the team at PN Personnel. You guys rock!!!!!
After 17+ years working for a wonderful employer, moving to Palmerston North from Auckland meant leaving and starting the job hunt. I applied for several jobs and one of them took me to PN Personnel. My experience with Palmerston North Personnel has been amazing. Moving from South Africa in November 2016, not knowing what to expect in our new country, not knowing how different the work environment would be. There was a light at the end of my uncertain tunnel, I was contacted by the PN Personnel team, there is an available temp position for me, I can start on the Monday. I lived in Auckland my entire life and in February of this year I moved to Palmerston North. I only knew a total of 4 people including my husband. Being thousands of kilometres from home, as an international student, I found PN Personnel very supportive and professional. Once I was introduced to the team I felt the warmth of welcome like at home.
