Should you change your job in 2020?
For those of us who have some leave over the Christmas/New Year period, we also have the opportunity for reflection and consideration to our year ahead.
You can self-evaluate what is or isn’t working in your job now and make some career plans for 2020.
Where do I want to be in 12 months’ time?
What do I need to do/learn/achieve to get there?
What can I do now to start moving towards my goal?
Who can help me along the way?
Set yourself a goal and strive for success. If you can achieve your goal within your current company, plan to set the wheels in motion on your return to work.
If you feel your goals are best met elsewhere, consider your options and do some research. Examine other companies you’d like to work with and browse a range of jobs online.
Bear in mind the grass might not be greener on the other side. Your self-evaluation may give you a renewed enthusiasm and appreciation for your current job and company.
