Manawatu workers considered to be on above average salaries, Stats NZ show.

This latest article from the NZ Herald compares average salaries throughout NZ (taken from income statistics from Stats NZ) and compares the averages to Australia.

Based on figures of an average before tax salary of $52,100 per year or more it shows Manawatu/Whanganui workers on average are above-average earners.  Add to this the liveability factor for our region;

more affordable housing compared to the bigger cities

an easy commute

great central location

excellent schooling and educational opportunities

a wide range of sporting and recreational activities.

With so much to offer PN Personnel talk often to larger city dwellers looking to relocate because of the many opportunities within the Manawatu region.
