Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant who is physically fit, reliable, a positive team player with a great attitude and keen to give anything a go.

Based in Whanganui, to Apply you will need to be living in the area.

Working for Delfast, a leading New Zealand Wholesaler, the Warehouse Assistant is an essential team member, responsible for getting out orders for Delfast’s clientele in a timely and accurate manner.

This is a full-time position, working 40 hour per week, Monday to Friday, operating in their purpose-built offices and warehouse.

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for taking customers’ orders received and manually getting these prepared for dispatch by courier.

Working with products from 2kgs up to 32 kgs, you will need to be physically fit as a lot of these orders are handled manually. There is also forklift requirements for some of the bigger orders, therefore should you have experience with forklift driving, this would be an advantage to your application.

Being familiar with using a computer would also be an advantage as you will be required to log the goods for despatch as well as printing out the necessary paper work and address labels.

We are looking for a Team Player who has a positive, can do attitude and is focused on giving 110% in their daily work.
