HireWays have built their reputation on quality gear that can be relied on. They source their equipment locally, nationally and internationally to hire out in the Lower North Island. If you have driven between their Wellington and Palmerston North branches you will have seen their equipment at work shaping roads of national significance, on the farm or at homes.

What is the role of the Branch Coordinator?

Due to significant growth within the organisation the Porirua Branch now requires and experienced Branch Coordinator. Hireways have a team of mechanics, technicians, yard operators and administrators in both the Porirua and Palmerston North branches. This role will be the link between them as well as ensuring that all customers in the Porirua Branch (internal and external) are looked after and are kept up to date. You will be the systems expert and keep all admin functions in real time as well and ensuring the workshop have their jobs scheduled and in the required order.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Previous experience in a workshop/service centre or logistics role
  • Mechanical understanding and ability
  • Computer literacy – (MS Excel as well as fast accurate data entry)
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (they use Inspire)
  • Highly organised and able to multitask
  • Ability to work well under pressure (as this is a fast-paced environment)
  • Customer focused and ability to problem solve
