The Product Specialist role sits within the Campus Trading Business Unit and has over 3000 FMCG product lines.
About the Role:
This is a newly created position and will work closely with the procurement and warehouse teams. The main purpose of the role is to manage the products' life-cycle (for the distribution centre) including ongoing maintenance of the product range, catalogues, pricing, images and product performance. Conducting regular analysis and providing up to date reporting on existing product ranges, SKU performance and specials.
Skills and Experience Required:
- A full understanding of product life-cycle management
- Supply chain experience over multiple sites
- Experience in the FMCG industry
- Solid computer skills including experience using ERP systems
- Inventory control experience in a warehouse environment
- Proficient user of MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement skills
