We have a couple of exciting opportunities for someone who would like to get involved in fabrication work or spray painting duties. These are both full time positions, starting ASAP and would be great for a first time job seeker or for someone looking for a change in their career.
Working in the fabrication department, you will be processing steel components. You will need to be able to listen, read, count and follow instructions. You will be measuring for cutting therefore attention to detail must be high. You will have the opportunity of using 6 different machines, therefore offering plenty of variety for someone who is keen and reliable.
You will need to operate simple engineering machinery safely, such as punch and shears, band-saws, drills & presses, with all training provided.
As above, the spray painting opportunity is a support role working with an experienced staff member. On the job training would be given as welll as training on all tools required for this precise role.
There is a certain skill to spray painting and it can be a very rewarding role, where your workmanship will be shown on the end product, therefore a high level of attention to detail is required.
Both roles are offering full time hours, being 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday and with a competitive starting hourly rate.
You will need a vehicle as the clients premises is located on the city boundary. This is a great opportunity for someone new to the trades and wanting to get involved. All we ask is for with your application is a good work ethic, reliability and someone who is keen to have a go at something new.
