With ongoing growth in our region B&M Electrical are currently looking for an Electrical Estimator to join their existing team.
This is a permanent role Monday to Friday with hours being 7.30am to 5pm with some flexibility, you will have the use of a company car, mobile and other technology tools to make you a well-organized and effective Electrical Estimator.
This role sits with the senior learship team within the company and you will need to have an understanding of electrical requirements for different construction projects, ideally be a registered electrician with firm knowledge of the regulations.
The successful person will have a good rapport with the construction industry and the key people within the trades. If you have a QS background, managing projects and tendering for jobs, we also want to hear from you as there could be an element of training provided to the right person to make the role successful.
B&M Electrical are looking for the person to continue to grow their network of key people in the industry and continue to strengthen the B&M brand through exceptional rapport building. You will be hands on visiting clients on site to discuss their needs in the finer details, from residential, commercial, to large scale industrial sites. Nothing is too big or small for B&M Electrical and you will be able to identify their needs and requirements and provide accurate costings to the job at hand.
Working inhouse with the qualified staff and service technicians for completion, you will have exceptional organisational skills and will run each project – show casing to your clients what B&M Electrical can do for them with your ability to build client rapport for the future.
Working within the greater Manawatu region, the scope of work will be varied and diverse and you will be equipped with the tools and support required to be successful in this role.
