We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated chef with a passion for great food. This is an autonomous role catering in-house for a local organisation. This is a full-time Monday - Friday (daytime) position starting in January 2019.
This is an autonomous role working a small, private kitchen catering for in-house lunches, meetings as well as baking various items. You will need to have experience preparing for 50 + for lunches, and between 15 – 30 people for meetings (this could be morning/afternoon tea or breakfasts).
To be successful in the role you will have the ability to plan for, purchase for and create varied menus while working to food quality standards and a fixed budget. You will also be an accomplished baker.
A friendly, mature and professional approach is essential. The kitchen will be your own, so you must be prepared to roll you sleeves up and prepare/cook and clean down after service.
The role is offering a competitive salary, full time hours worked Monday – Friday during the day (start/finish times will be flexible depending on requirements).
