We are currently recruiting for a front of house Counter Sales Person, working in the industrial hardware sector.
This role is offering full time hours in a temporary capacity with an immediate start. Not only will you be the counter sales person, but you will be responsible for telephone enquiries, warehouse duties including pick packing of products along with other duties as required at the time.
Our Client is a family owned and operated engineering hardware business, established in 1987. They speciality is supplying New Zealand and oversesa companies with 'hard to find hardware' along with other various products.
High Customer Service is their priority and the knowledge behind their product speaks for itself, therefore the person we are seeking, needs to be a master of many hats.
Counter Sales will be the main job, therefore we are seeking someone well presented, customer serviced focused with great people skills. You will be confident to learn the many products our client sells and will be a 'hands on sales person' explaining the use and how some of the products are fitted. Please note, training will be provided.
You will be responsible for handling cash and eftpos transactions, therefore you will need good cash handling and arithmetic skills.
Some warehouse duties will be required in this role, as our clients standard delivery is overnight, with the customer receiving their product locally and regionally the next day.
The hours for this position are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and would suit someone early in their working career, looking for that next step.
