Administrator - (12 Months Fixed Term)

Location : Administration & Customer Service | Listed : Thursday, 24 January | Type : Permanent + Full-time

This is a 12 Month Fixed term position covering maternity leave, based in the Dannevirke office.

Naylor Lawrence and Associates are the Manawatu’s leading accountancy firm. They take their work seriously but also have a lot of fun while they are at it. Through both their Palmerston North and Dannevirke offices they service a wide variety of clients across many different sectors and industries – reaching across the lower half of the North Island. They are a multi-talented and experienced team, producing quality financial reporting services, tax advice, strategic business advice, succession planning and auditing.

About the Role

Based in the Dannevirke office, you will provide accurate and efficient administration support to the team. This is an integral position in the office, providing a high standard of customer service with a positive, proactive approach. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Reception duties (phones, appointments)
  • Workflow management
  • Managing office supplies
  • Daily banking and mail
  • Health and Safety administration
  • Marketing coordination
  • IT support as required

Skills and Experience you will need:

  • Experience in an administration role within professional environment
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
  • Able to pick up systems and procedures quickly
  • Be process driven
  • Positive, highly motivated and committed to adding value and achieving results

Based on the front desk you will be the first point of contact for clients, so outstanding customer services skills and a real passion for helping people is a must.
